About
I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist with clinical specialties in Neuropsychology and Cognitive Rehabilitation. Simply put, I study Brain-Behavior Relationships.
I graduated from Loma Linda University in 2014 with my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, after completing my pre-doctoral internship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. There, I specialized in inpatient and outpatient neuropsychological assessment and treatment for brain injury patients, and psychological services for spinal cord injury patients.
After graduating, I completed my post-doctoral requirements as a neuropsychologist and memory trainer at UCLA’s Longevity Center and concurrently worked at a private practice in Pasadena, CA, providing neuropsychological assessment of learning disabilities in children, adolescents, and young adults, and also provided cognitive assessments for older adults with neurological issues and concerns about memory loss.

After completing my post doctoral requirements in early 2016, I joined the medical staff at St. Jude Medical Center, as an Inpatient Neuropsychologist. At St. Jude, I worked on the inpatient neuro-rehabilitation unit, providing neuropsychological assessment, treatment, behavioral management, and family support to patients on the unit. These patients’ diagnoses included traumatic brain injury, stroke, encephalopathy, and brain tumor resection, among other neurological conditions. In 2018, I furthered my career goals by taking on a position at Casa Colina Hospital and Centers for Healthcare, providing neuropsychological assessment and treatment to brain injury and spinal cord injury patients as part of a multidisciplinary team, geared toward maximizing patients' independence prior to them returning home.
Over the past 10 years, my clinical focus has been on working with individuals who have dealt with cognitive difficulties, helping them identify their problems, assess the severity of their conditions, and provide recommendations and treatment options to address their concerns. Please read more about neuropsychological assessment here, and therapy services here.
I have also developed a specialty in providing support to the family members of those afflicted with neurological conditions, as illness so often affects the whole family unit, not just the patient. Please read more on therapy services for family support here.
I am excited to share that in the past few years, I have hyperfocused my attention on simple but powerful changes a person can make in their life to achieve more success, happiness, and fulfillment.
